EuroTEL Canada’s ISDN PRI service is an enhancement of its ISDN BRI service. This is achieved by offering you two-way connectivity between your Private Branch Exchange (PBX) and the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) over an industry leading Tier I network.  Powered by a digital framework, ISDN PRI allows you to effectively manage the diversity of your business including computer telephony, high-speed file transfers, data back-up and video conferencing with superior transmission speeds and clearer signals. 

Some of the compelling benefits are:

  • Local Traffic Studies assess the efficiency of a company's local telecommunications infrastructure to determine capacity right sizing. By collecting raw data regarding inbound and outbound call volume over a one-week period, EuroTEL analyzes usage and existing capacity and makes recommendations for future technology planning.

  • Configuration Flexibility allows you to choose how to manage incoming and outgoing calls

  • Release Line Trunking allows you to transfer outside calls to an outside number without relying on two B channels to support the connection — the PRI enables your equipment to release the B channels and transfer responsibility for maintaining the connection to EuroTEL Canada, freeing up resources on your PBX

  • Tie Trunks connect two or more branches in the same city without experiencing tie trunk mileage charges and, in some cases, long distance charges

  • Direct Inward Dialing (DID) provides direct access for external callers without channeling through an operator

  • Reserved DID Numbers allow you to hold a block of DID numbers for future use to ensure consistency in your numbering structure

  • Call Display allows you to view the names and numbers of incoming calls if you have equipment that is capable of reading name and number information

  • Flexible Hunting Configurations/Overflow directs calls that reach a busy trunk to another available trunk

  • Back up D Channel can be provisioned on an ISDN PRI system of 24 channels or more to ensure service continuity should there be a failure on the D channel controlling the signaling between the switch of our Tier I carrier and your equipment for all call set ups

  • Access Emergency and Assistance Numbers including Police, Fire and Ambulance (911), Operator Assistance (0), Directory Assistance (411), Repair and Maintenance (611) and Message Relay Service for hearing impaired (711)
